Forming a new entity or registering an existing entity in Próspera is simple process that can be completed in less than a day. Below are the steps required to form an entity:

Prerequisites

To create an entity in Próspera you must first be an (e)Resident or Resident. Alternatively, you can hire a legal representative with residency to form an entity on your behalf. See: Legal Service Providers

Choose Residency for the Entity

Similar to residency for individuals, residency for entities provides your business access to use the Próspera Governance Platform (like a subscription). There are two types of residency for legal entities:

(e)Residency - $130/year

• Physical access to Prospera ZEDE for 30 calendar days per 12 month term

• Rent and/or own real estate in Prospera ZEDE

• Optional liability insurance

Residency - $130/year

• Year-round physical access to Próspera ZEDE

• Legal stability guarantee

• Rent and/or own real estate in Próspera ZEDE

• Mandatory liability insurance ($260/year)

Complete Entity Details

1. Choose between:

   1. New entity registration ($150)

   2. Foreign existing entity registration ($50)

2. Name your entity and confirm principal office address

3. Select a registered agent (ranges from $99-$250/year)

   1. A Registered Agent is required in Próspera and provides your entity with a physical address in the jurisdiction, accepts legal mail proceedings on your behalf, and helps you maintain effective corporate compliance.

4. Describe entity activity

   1. This includes your industry and regulatory election, if applicable.

   2. A disclosure of any hazardous activity the business may participate in.

5. Sign Agreement of Coexistence (Residency Agreement)

6. Complete Payment and Submit for Approval

The total cost of creating an entity varies on several factors including registering a foreign entity vs a new entity, residency type, and registered agent fee. Here's a breakdown:
